Your yoga world at a glance: Yoga at Shanti, wellness resort on the island, is completely pure and traditional in form, stemming from the roots of Hatha yoga and adapting it to suit individual needs. It is a disciplined science teaching the techniques of the renowned Divine culture University (India) encompassing all aspects of life in different ways and levels to balance the mind, body and spirit. Our experienced Yoga teachers are trained to understand your personal objectives and goals during your stay at Shanti and beyond. They will then design a specific yoga and meditation program for you to assist you through your journey of life, balancing your being and assisting you to achieve health and wellbeing.

Yoga disciplines performed at the Resort

In ancient times Yoga was often referred to as a tree, a living entity with roots, a trunk, branches, blossoms, and fruit. Hatha Yoga is one of six branches; the others include Power Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Aerial Yoga , Yin Yoga each branch with its unique characteristics and function represents a particular approach to life.

Our program is based on a daily fundamental calendar with the following inclusions at your choice with up to three daily Yoga and meditation group classes on a complimentary basis.

Aerial Yoga

In aerial yoga, your body weight is supported by a ‘hammock’. This swath of soft fabric, suspended from the ceiling, supports your body in the poses and allows your body to Work against gravity, helping you get deeper into stretches. It also means you can do many supported inversions, which results in health benefits unique to aerial yoga.

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training is a certification program proposed to practitioners who aspire to become the instructors or students who would like to expand their knowledge. Training is designed to give you all the tools (safe techniques, knowledge and practice) to teach Aerial Yoga class with confidence. It contains 20 hours of practical sessions with a Master Instructor and additional hours of individual work (relative to student's needs) supervised by the Master Instructor.
Training is personalized and strictly adapted to student's fitness level. You will gain knowledge on anatomy, correct alignment, how to guide your clients in and out of the poses, and provide effortless decompression of the spine. You will be able to design your own structure of the class for clients with different fitness levels, and assist clients of all body types and abilities, including creating the progressions for more challenging poses. You will learn an innovative combination of traditional yoga poses and aerial arts, how to use the hammock to increase muscle tone and flexibility, mobility through suspended asanas, flying vinyasa, and floating meditations.

Agnieszka Koziarska Martinache, Master Instructor and teacher trainer, with 20 years of experience in fitness and wellness. She achieved her knowledge traveling around the world for many years taking multiple certifications and workshops. She maintains 31 different diplomas in well-being field. Founder of yoga and aerial studios in Europe and United States. Creator of MindBodyAgnieszka school for yoga and Pilates instructors and practitioners.

Hot Yoga

Floating (stand up paddle board) Yoga

SUP yoga is a great way to work on maintaining a beginner’s mindset because it introduces new challenge to your Yoga routine. Floating yoga can be a delightful way to experience nature and invigorate your Yoga practice.

Kids Yoga

Our Yoga Master will offer specially designed private yoga and meditation classes for kids. Our Yoga Master will initiate a ‘singing bowl’ meditation for kid’s fun, followed by basic yoga poses, breathing and meditation techniques.

Private Yoga Session

Personalised Yoga sessions include Yoga, guided meditation and relaxation techniques. These techniques equip you with the ability to relax and rejuvenate the entire body-mind System.

Family Yoga

A gentle yoga flow, simple yoga tricks and partner stretches to favor family fun, family element and positive spirit of life in the continuity. This experience is highly recommended to build integrity, fosters
love and happiness and oriented to the positive aspect of life.

Yoga Marathon
